This is the official number one ramen restaurant in Kyushu ramen popular vote. You can find many branch here in Fukuoka as well as other countries. We have visited Nakasu branch in quite late weekday, the service is a bit below Japanese standard. However, the ramen itself is cheap and tasty, the soup is really smooth and appetising.

I went on 18 June 2019 about 4pm. The ticket machine is user friendly and the staff helped us to circle on a form what is the hardness of the noodles we want, level of spiciness, whether we want spring onions and the richness of the noodles we would like. A big thumbs up for the friendliness of the staff. I ordered seafood soup ramen plus an onsen egg. My mom ordered the meat with onsen egg ramen. The noodles is very nice and very affordable with both about 18 Singapore dollar. I will go again if I am in Hakata!

Kyushu voted for the top ramen, and the thick Yusuke ramen soup was pretty good. Use fine noodles.

My 3rd times to try this ramen restaurant but this shop is the 1st time. It's still very tasty but the size is relatively small.

Accidentally pumped in to this shop for meal, ordered 2 ramen, didn't realized it have so many branches all over the globe, taste was fantastic and staffs were polite and friendly, highly recommended and will come again in future.

Danbo is one of the most global Japanese ramen chains, with locations across Asia and a couple in the US and China. I've been to the two Vancouver locations, so was keen on trying out one of the Fukuoka locations as this is where the chain started and Fukuoka is famous for its Tonkatsu ramen.It did not disappoint. The broth, pork slices, egg and noodle were all excellent. The price was fantastic too, as it was at least a couple hinder yen cheaper than most ramen places. Highly recommend this place!
